ORDERING
When using the online ordering system, please use the part number
listed in our catalog and always have your McDurmon customer number and
password available. To provide prompt delivery and discount
prices, we are unable to accept orders of less than $25.00. Any
orders not complying will have a $5.00 handling charge added to
the invoice total. Please note - Order quantities may be changed
to accommodate product packaging.
SPECIAL ORDERS
McDurmon
will obtain special order items that are not part of our normal vendor
inventory. Certain custom-made items may require a "Special Order
Agreement Form" to be signed before the order will be placed.
Special orders are subject to longer delivery times and may also
require pre-payment at the time the order is placed or a percentage of
deposit with order. Please note that special order items cannot
be cancelled or returned for credit.
BACKORDERS
McDurmon will continually try to maintain our same day shipping policy
and our high percentage of line fill. At times, however, we will
experience back order situations. All back orders over $25.00
will be shipped automatically. Unless otherwise notified, back
orders under $25.00 will be added to your next order. The next
order must be within 30 days or the back order will be cancelled.
We will do our best to notify customers when they have a below minimum
back order. It is the customer's responsibility to cancel if they
do not want a back order shipped. Status for all orders may be
checked online.
DROP SHIPMENTS
Any drop shipment will incur a $5.00 charge. We will not drop
ship from our vendor directly to your customer. Drop ship orders
placed online will not incur a drop ship charge.
PRICES
Due to the instability of raw material pricing, prices are subject to change without notice.
Please feel free to call or check online at any time to get a current
price quote. Orders will be billed at prices in effect at the
time the order is placed. Please remember, manufacturers usually
change their prices in the fall and at the beginning of the calendar
year.
*RETURNED GOODS AND WARRANTY POLICY*
Merchandise cannot be marked, soiled or disfigured in any way and must be in its original carton or package.
ANY
MERCHANDISE RETURNED TO MCDURMON DISTRIBUTING, INC. FOR ANY REASON MUST
HAVE PRIOR AUTHORIZATION AND BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RETURNED GOODS
AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RGA). RETURNED GOODS AUTHORIZATION NUMBERS
WILL BE VALID FOR 30 DAYS FROM ISSUE DATE. Invoice number and
purchase date of item being returned is also required.
Duplicate
shipments, shipments or wrong merchandise not ordered can be returned
for full credit, provided they are reported within 10 days of shipment
date and you have obtained an RGA number. Other merchandise my be
returned within 15 days from date of invoice for full credit providing
the merchandise was purchased from McDurmon and is in new saleable
condition. Merchandise returned after 15 days will be charged a
15% restocking fee.
NO
MERCHANDISE WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF
INVOICE. MCDURMON WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS OTHER THAN THE
ABOVE STATED. ALL UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS WILL BE RETURNED FREIGHT
COLLECT.
Defective merchandise may
be returned with an RGA number and will be repaired, replaced or
credited according to the terms of the manufacturers' warranty policies.
Merchandise lost or damaged in shipment is the responsibility of the
carrier. A claim must be filed with the carrier for
satisfaction. For FEDEX you may call 1-800-GO-FEDEX to initiate a damage claim. UPS requires that the local UPS office be notified immediately, in order for them to inspect the shipment as it arrived at your place of business. UPS will initiate the proper claim procedure at that time. Refer to your UPS driver for immediate questions concerning procedure. For all other carriers please contact McDurmon Dist. immediately.
FREIGHT ALLOWANCE
NOTE:
Purchases of engines, drives, powerheads and machinery will require
payment in advance and will ship F.O.B. origin of shipment.
Normal freight may be deducted per the following terms ONLY if the invoice is paid by the due date.
COD accounts will receive prepaid freight on orders meeting the same
requirements. COD charges, hazardous material charges,
drop ship fees and air freight may not be deducted. Freight
deductions are not allowed on past due accounts. Accounts that
become past due may be transferred to COD terms without notice until
the default on the account is cured. McDurmon reserves the right
to choose the freight carrier on any freight prepaid or freight deduct
shipment.
The following lists the minimum order amount needed to acheive the freight allowance.
Lubricants, antifreeze, engines, shrinkwrap and machinery are excluded from freight allowances.
ZONE 2: Orders totaling over $275.00
ZONE 3, 4 & 5: Orders totaling over $375.00
ZONE 6, 7 & 8: Orders totaling over $525.00
