McDurmon Distributing is committed to providing only the highest quality marine parts and accessories. As a distributor, McDurmon Distributing does not offer any warranties. However, many of our vendors do offer limited warranties.

If a purchased product is found to be defective, it may be returned to McDurmon Distributing with a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number for repair, replacement, or credit according to the terms of the manufacturers’ warranty policies. To obtain a RGA number, please contact a McDurmon Customer Service Representative at 1-800-621-4130.

Returns

When returning merchandise to McDurmon Distributing, please adhere to our return policies to ensure proper credit. McDurmon Distributing will not accept any returns that do not meet the guidelines listed below. All unauthorized returns will be returned freight collect.

    1. Merchandise cannot be marked, soiled, or disfigured in any way and must be in its original carton or package.

    2. Any merchandise returned to McDurmon Distributing for any reason, must have prior authorization and be accompanied by a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number before being returned. RGA numbers will be valid for 30 days from issue date. Please include invoice number and date of purchase with all returned merchandise.

    3. Merchandise may be returned within 15 days from date of invoice for full credit as long as the merchandise was purchased from McDurmon Distributing and is in new and saleable condition. Merchandise returned after 15 days will be charged a 15% restocking fee.

    4. No merchandise will be accepted after 30 days from the date of invoice.

    5. Duplicate shipments or shipments of wrong merchandise not ordered can be returned for full credit, provided they are reported within 10 days of shipment date and have an RGA number.

Lost or Damaged in Shipment

McDurmon Distributing’s shipping department is committed to pack all outgoing merchandise for safe delivery. Merchandise that is lost or damaged in shipment is the responsibility of the carrier. All lost or damaged claims must be filed with the carrier.

    • For FEDEX, you may call 1-800-GO-FEDEX to initiate a claim or visit FedEx online to place an online claim.

    • UPS requires you to notify a local UPS office immediately, in order for them to inspect the shipment at your place of business. UPS will initiate the proper claim procedure at that time. Or, you may visit UPS online to place an online claim.
